Today is the last day before I leave for a long trip, so it was full of fun activities (that’s sarcasm in case you’re wondering) like cleaning, laundry, packing and cleaning up any other last minute details. There were other truly fun moments, like lunch with fellow chemists (who will hopefully read this and understand that I will be getting them back), and dinner with my parents.

With a little luck you should find frequent updates of my location, along with pictures and a discussion of any chemistry I might be doing... yeah, I know, but I am going to a meeting and to meet with collaborators, plus, can you really expect any chemistry grad student to go for more than a few minutes without thinking about chemistry?
