The Stress Inducer

Today I did something I haven’t done in a while. I had to set aside a project because it was just to stressful. This wasn’t just any project, rather, it was writing using LaTex (pronounced La-Tech). For those of you not familiar with LaTex , it’s a text formatting program that produces results MUCH better than Microsoft Word. My CV was written using this program, and I am much happier with it than any earlier incarnation.
The major problem with using LaTex, is that it is all written in code, rather than plain text, and most aspects of the formatting must be encoded as well. This is why you can achieve great looking documents, but it can also be a bit overwhelming... and today it was.
I’m not entirely sure if its just anxiety about trying to figure something out, or the fact that I have 10 windows open on my computer screen trying to figure it out (not only LaTex windows, but BibDesk, Mail, other LaTex documents of mine where I’ve already figured some stuff out, and even Safari... no I’m not beyond googling to find good solutions).
Suffice it to say: I set this aside, I guess I’ll come back to it later!
