Today was my last day in Florence, Italy and with my last day I decided to hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo, and quite a hike it was... Below is a picture taken from the in front of the tribute to Michelangelo.



It was a long way up a hill that seemed like a never ending staircase from the level of the river to the vista this picture was taken from. It does, however, offer an unequaled view of Florence. You can check out some of the other photos I took from here (along with many others of Florence).

Tomorrow I take the train to Rome for the next leg of this incredible trip!
